EMDR/HAP HISTORY
Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs (©Trauma Recovery/HAP) was founded over 25 years ago, in the wake of the devastating bombing in Oklahoma City, to increase the capacity for effective treatment of psychological trauma for underserved populations throughout this country and other parts of the world. Trauma Recovery/HAP is increasing the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapies to treat trauma victims worldwide by expanding access to EMDR trained professional and through the formation of active, community-based networks of trauma recovery professionals, or Trauma Recovery Networks (TRNs).
